I decided to do kung fu training at the Osaka Temple branch because of Chinese visa and still wanted to train. I had trained at the head academy in China Kunyu Mountain and really learned a lot.I’m so glad that I was able to have the chance to train further, here in Japan. The shifu, Master Sun, was absolutely incredible. It was an honor and a privilege getting to learn from him. His teaching style is so gentle but also incredibly clear. I was really able to understand better so many things that had previously been confusing to me. I grew so much from his instruction. I can’t believe the amount of improvement I was able to achieve. The environment is much smaller than in China but you end up feeling like you’re just apart of a big family that’s all interested in martial arts just like you.

 I enjoyed the feeling of living at home with a big family, training and growing in my understanding of martial arts, and am grateful that I got the chance to have this experience.
