Training Kung Fu in March 2025

My experience at Osaka Kungfu School has been transformative. With both dyspraxia and ADHD, I've always had a unique way of learning. Initially, I struggled and fell behind, but this struggle forced me to focus like never before. I had to learn how to learn on a deeper level, adapting the training to work for me. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, this place fostered that growth.

Over time, I dedicated extra hours to practice, eventually reaching a level where I could take the exam—something I never thought possible at the start of exam week. That moment of realization was powerful.

Physically, I felt my body open up, my coordination improve, and my movement expand. Qigong, in particular, had a lasting impact, and I plan to continue practicing it daily.

Learning Kung Fu in Japan has been a dream come true. The immersive experience, combined with exploring its philosophy, was incredibly meaningful. The nearby hot springs were the perfect way to unwind after intense training.

I am deeply grateful for everything I've learned and how this journey has helped m grow.
